My Prayer

Dear Lord,

First you blessed us with an amazing baby girl. Words can't explain how grateful we are for her! Then low and behold another blessing in our 2nd pregnancy.

If I'm being honest (and I might as well, after all you are our all knowing God), I wasn't crazy excited about it at first. But with every passing hour and thought of our soon to be family of 4 I grew more and more excited. I was on cloud 9 for the short time you allowed me to carry that precious baby! And I know that you knew exactly what you were doing when you brought our 2nd baby to be with you in heaven.

I know this, so why do I continue to cry??? It still hurts...with every pregnant person and newborn baby I see.

So I pray, I pray that you will give me another chance, to trust that you know exactly when it will be the right time for us, and give me the patients for all this!
